Hi I'm Zoe

I grew up in Draper, Utah. I'm serving in the Taiwan, Taipei mission. I LOVE my life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old, there are 6 in my family - my mom and I being the only girls. I love the outdoors- especially hiking and running. I'd love to go backpacking through a foreign country someday because I love adventures and experiencing other cultures. I love reading, writing, and appreciating the aesthetics of the beautiful world God created for us. I completed one year at BYU-Idaho before starting my mission papers. I love enjoying life, and living it to the fullest potential, while appreciating every moment that I live in. I love the happiness that the gospel brings and sharing it with others!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS home, and in a culture where a lot of people around me were LDS. However, I soon learned that being a part of this gospel requires commitment and true conversion. I had to find for myself what I wanted to believe in. As I "diligently sought" for truth, eventually it became obvious. The life that I live when I am following the teachings our Savior taught, is the happiest life to live. He is always there. Over the course of my life, one of the biggest things I've learned about my religion is that it is so much more than what others mistake it to be from the outside. We are more than just Christians who don't drink tea or coffee, attend 3 hours of church service every Sunday, have some sort of connection to BYU, have family from Utah, etc. There's reason behind it all. I'm an active member, and missionary for God's church because I know how it has blessed my life. I want it for the whole world! I want everyone to feel the love of our Heavenly Father. Because of God's plan for me, I have direction. Because of His mercy, I know I can become a better person. Because of His love for me, even though I am imperfect, I can have more love for others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through experiencing life and learning from mistakes, centering my life on the teachings of Jesus Christ, and of course serving a mission to share the things I know to be true. I plan to continue to serve in my community and church wherever I live after I return home from my mission as well.
