Hi I'm Paul

I was born and raised in Washington. I ski, climb, hike, and play piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just recently graduated from high school and received my mission call to Japan in August, I leave in December. I've been a member of the church my whole life but most of my closest friends growing up and all through high school were not members. I grew up skiing at Alpental in the winter and wake boarding/ water skiing on lake Sammamish during the summer. I've climbed Mount Rainier three times, Mount Baker twice and other various peaks around the cascade mountains. I've played piano for 13 years, mainly classical but also some jazz and blues. My plan after I get home from my mission is to attend and receive a degree from Brigham Young University, Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace, joy, and purpose that it brings to my life. The gospel shows us why we are here on this Earth, why we should make the right decisions, and allows us to be forgiven of our past mistakes and sins. It allows us to be truly happy. It helps me to personally realize how much God loves me and that I really am his son, and that someday I will be able to see and live with him again.

How I live my faith

I'm an active member of the youth organization of my church, engaging in numerous social and service activities around the community.
