Hi I'm Malou

I grew up in the Philippines but is now blessed to have my family and I come to America. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend, a grandma to a beautiful baby girl who is now almost three years old and will be serving a full time mission with my husband in September 2017 to the Philippines Area. I used to minister to the needs of angels whose wings need mending as a rehab therapist and at present, I teach angels whose wings need to grow. In 32 days, I will be soaring high into the mission field where I can be an instrument to help others develop wings to come unto Christ! I am a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon when I was fourteen when my father admonished us to join the church. The day before, he told the missionaries not to visit us anymore as he is not ready to be baptized but that evening he dreamt about a heavenly being who told him that if he is not ready to be baptized then let his children be baptized. And so he told us about the dream and out of obedience to his wishes, my siblings, (ages thirteen and twelve) and I were baptized members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Five months later, my father joined the church and one year later, my mother was baptized by my father. My father became a bishop in our ward, the second ordained patriarch of the church in the Philippines, and a temple sealer. He married me and my wonderful husband in the Philippines Manila Temple 32 years ago. As we continue to become an eternal family unit, I will forever be grateful to my loving earthly father for providing us the way towards eternity.

How I live my faith

I love teaching children about Jesus and sharing with others how God is mindful of each of us.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Malou
I know Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ one bright spring day in answer to his sincere prayer to know which church is true. He was an instrument in God's hand in the restoration of God's kingdom on earth. I know Joseph is a true prophet because I prayed about him and also received an answer to my prayers. I was also fourteen years old when the answer came! Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Malou
All things both in the heavens and on earth, testify of the existence of an Almighty Being who is the author of all these wondrous creations around us. I can feel God's presence in everything I do. I know He lives and He knows me personally. I love my Heavenly Father and grateful for His many tender mercies in my life. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Malou
I know that if we choose to follow our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, we will receive eternal life and enjoy their presence eternally. Show more Show less
