Hi I'm Camille Leavitt

I'm a born-and-bred Idahoan and a full-time missionary. I love music, navy blue, and the great outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a full-time mission to Portugal! This is a big adventure for me, and a great opportunity. I'm learning so much about what it means to serve with the Spirit, and I love, love, love it! I'm happy to be here serving the Lord and all my brothers and sisters. Before reporting to the MTC, I finished a great first year at BYU-Idaho studying the viola. I really enjoyed playing in the Symphony Orchestra there, as well as some chamber groups; but my favorite quartet is the one I'm in with my siblings when we're all together for the holidays. Though the opportunities don't come often, I also love hiking, camping, four-wheeling, etc. Being outside is the best.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into the church and raised by a family who loves the gospel. As everyone must be, I was personally converted over the years through various experiences. I love the church, and I know it teaches the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Through diligently improving my habits of scripture study and prayer I've come to realize my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and my Savior. I know they live and guide my life; I know the Book of Mormon is inspired truth - it is scripture, written by prophets of old who believed in and testified of Jesus Christ. They knew Him, and they wanted us to know Him too. We have prophets on the earth today who also know Him. Having been given the proper authority, they receive instruction from the Lord to direct this church in righteousness. These prophets love the Lord, and they desire us to experience the same good relationship with Him. I know the way is open to all who are willing to do His will to qualify for eternal life through of the Atonement of Christ. Our Father knows and loves us, as does our Savior; they know the way to happiness, and they have provided the knowledge for all who desire to obtain it. It is possible and it is worth it. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving as a full-time missionary. My day is spent in much studying, preparing, teaching people, and doing my best to invite the Spirit through my preparation and service. I always seek to allow the Holy Ghost to direct what I say, teach, and do and to share the gospel message with my whole heart.
