Hi I'm Ofa

I served as a missionary in the Virginia Chesapeake Mission. I'm from a family of 15. I'm Tongan and a little bit of German.

About Me

I'm 22 years old, I've been home from my mission for a while now. Thanks to being able to devote 18 short months of my life, I've come to know my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ on a very personal level. I love nature and all that it has to offer because it denotes that there is a God.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm mormon because I feel the love, the joy and the never ending happiness that our savior wants us to have; and that's what this gospel has.

How I live my faith

After returning home from my mission, I've come to see that there's countless ways of being able to live my faith. I live it by example and also sharing spiritual experiences on social media! Not only is sharing it on social media a way to share it with others, but it's a way that helps bring me back to the basics and to remember my purpose on this earth.

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Ofa
We're really just like everyone else, we celebrate national holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving and so on. For church, we wear our "Sunday best", woman wear modest dresses or skirts. Men wear suits and ties and kids also dress in sunday best. Show more Show less
