Hi I'm Braden Ostler

I'm a Pinstriper and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a pinstriper, I love to fish, and surf. I am currently serving a full time mission in the Texas San Antonio Mission. I'm up for anything that involves the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. I choose to stay in the church because there is nothing like feeling the spirit each time I pray and read the scriptures. I stay because I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am serving a full time 2 year Mission for My Savior Jesus Christ. I talk to everyone I meet and give them a background on this church. Everyday work or play, I strive to be like Him. I share the gospel with all that I meet and hope for the best in all.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

Braden Ostler
We teach that you MUST be baptized in order to enter into the highest part of Heaven and live with our Heavenly Father. In order to be baptized you need to be repented of your sins and to promise to continue to repent after baptism. A valid baptism is one that is done my someone holding the proper authority given from God and be put all the way under the water and brought back out immediately. Last baptism is not complete without receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost. If you are under the age of 8 you cannot be baptized because you need not to be baptized until you are able to discern right from wrong by yourself. Show more Show less
