Hi I'm Matti

I am born and raised in Palmer, Alaska. I am a stay at home mom and business owner. I love life! I am a Mormon!!!

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of 2 kids. I have a boy who's 2 1/2 years old and a girl who is 11 months old. My husband and I have been married for 3 1/2 years. We met in Southern Utah and got sealed for time and all eternity in the St. George, Utah temple. I went to college to play basketball at Div II school in Michigan. I have always wanted to be a stay at home mom and enjoy spending the time with my children to teach them their value and potential. I love to play basketball and enjoy playing sports and exercising. I also enjoy reading/listening to books about parenting, marriage, etc to self improve.

Why I am a Mormon

I originally started going to church because I was born into it. At a very young age I simply enjoyed the feeling that I felt being at church and learning more about our Savior. I loved the spirit that I felt at church but hadn't quite gained a testimony of my own so at that point I was leaning on others' testimonies until I could have my own. I was about 15 years old when I recognized that I had a testimony of my own. I was given a blessing and it clicked that I had had small experiences of my own throughout my years in the church that built the bases for the testimony I have today. I know that I would not be who I am today, emotionally and mentally, without the truth of this gospel in my life. Its a big deal to know your worth and understand that you are always loved unconditionally no matter what, it gives you sense of confidence that you can't find anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I love being a part of this gospel! I currently am a teacher for the 5 year old children in my ward. I have been a part of the youth programs in the past as a teacher. It is such a fun thing to be able to serve the members of our ward. I also get to visit ladies in our ward every month to see how life is treating them! It is fun to get to know other ladies in our ward outside of church.
