Hi I'm Carlin

I live life proud of who I am. Brother, Canadian, rugby player and friend. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love sports! I particularly enjoy rugby. I am big into archery and enjoy shooting at the archery range. Other things I like to do are; wall climbing, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, camping, horseback riding, working out and spending time with family. I am working in a factory till I go on my mission. While I was in high school playing rugby I was injured with a ACL, MCL and meniscus tare. I have since had to have surgery and undergo physical therapy so I can go on my mission, which has been a life long goal in my life. Although my path to my mission took longer than previously anticipated I have a call and things look great for the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up in a house with rules that may be seen as strange or restricting to the rest of the world. knowing no different as a kid I believed my life to be normal. Little did I know that I was greatly blessed. The rules I had been taught against most of my peers did not restrict me but made me free. I may not have realized while in my youth, but I have learned from my personal experiences and from seeing the consciences of others choices in my life.

How I live my faith

In my particular city we have a flood about once every two years and it is my blessing to help out with sand bagging. We gather together at a big warehouse and fill bags with sand and then tie them off and place them on pallets, which are than distributed to houses so they may be protected from the rising water. I am part of multiple clubs as well. I am a member of the archer association here and the rock climbing club as well. I have also have had the opportunity be involved with the my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. I have had the opportunity to be apart of a young single adult men's group and was given the responsibility to assist those who need help with anything from moving into a house, to painting a fence, and basically just there to make sure that everyone who needs help is taken care of.
