Hi I'm Kate.

I'm a guitar player, a cook, a sister, an artist, a cyclist, a student, a daughter of God, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love Drawing, stargazing, traveling, meeting new people and just Being myself, I love to think of what my future may hold. I plan on serving a mission and going to collage, I want to learn as much as I can to become the Best Wife and Mother I can be for my family and future family.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon.... I am a Mormon because I have faith in and a Testimony of The Gospel of Jesus Christ, My Savior and Redeemer. I Know that He knows Me and my needs and just what I need to do to overcome my challenges and trials, I Know that Joseph Smith Was and Is a Prophet, that he restored this church and that Pres. Thomas S. Monson, Is the Prophet today, and that he leads and guides the church according to the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I know that Revelation is not just for the leaders of the church, But I can receive Personal Revelation for myself, I Hope to gain the necessary tools to understand the gospel and be able to teach it one day. I KNOW that My Heavenly Father Loves ME, and that He Knows me By name, and that I Truly am a Daughter of a King, and that I am Valued Far above Rubies. (Prov. 31:10) I know that all of the people on this earth, Male and Female, from all different nationalities, and race, ARE Children of God, and that he is aware of All of them, He loves them Just as much as he Loves me. And that is why I am a Mormon. I know it. I Live it. I Love it.

How I live my faith

I am the assistant music director in our unit, I'm also In the Youth Program, I love going to seminary (an early morning scripture study class before school) and attending my regular meetings. As I see all of the missionaries, and return missionaries around me, I hope to one day, serve a mission of my own. I hope that by my faith I have made a difference in the lives of those around me.

What do Mormons believe about family?

The family.... Is Central to the plan of Salvation, we were sent to earth and given families to lead, teach and guide us as we are growing up, the family is also the sole purpose to the plan, so we can live with God again with those we love. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Baptisms for the dead.. Is something we do in the Temple, Just as Baptism is the gate way for living people to enter the church, Baptisms for the dead is just that, a gate way for those who have passed on, it gives them an opportunity to learn about the Church and to receive the gospel, if they have not in this life.
