Hi I'm Hermana Elise Pulley

I LOVE my Savior. I like reading, playing piano, singing, and writing. I am currently serving a mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to anyone and everyone who will listen. I spoke French in High School, but since I was called the speak Spanish in California, I have taken to learning the Spanish Language. I am excited to be worthy enough to spread this blessed gospel, and hope people can see the Light of Christ in my eyes as I share my testimony.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandparents and parents were members, so I was born into this religion, but I continue to follow this gospel because I know it is true. I can feel the Spirit in my every day life and strive to choose the right to allow it to be with me constantly. I feel the Savior's love for me and know that he willingly gave himself for me. I know that God is my Heavenly Father, and that he wants me to return into his presence again when it is time. I am called of God to serve for my Lord because I know with the Lord's help I can be steadfast and firm in my beliefs. "I [know] I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13).

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my actions. I try to be selfless as Jesus was, and look forward to opportunities to serve others. I share my faith when I tells my friends about the blessings that I have received from Heavenly Father, and let them know how lucky they are as well. I am a shy person in general, but each time that a chance comes, I try to take advantage of it; whether it is just singing, playing the piano, or speaking in church meetings. I am living my faith as you are reading this. I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and it is my duty as a representative of Christ, to share the wonderful gospel of our Savior and Master.

Are Mormons Christians?

Hermana Elise Pulley
What does it mean to be a Christian? A Christian follows Christ's example. Through his mortal ministry, Jesus Christ taught many about service and preformed many selfless acts of kindness. He taught people to love God, and to serve man. Christians follow Christ's example by serving others and by obeying God's commandments. By this definition, Mormons are considered Christian. The name of the Church we attend is called "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints". We are disciples of Christ, and try to follow his example. We accept Christ as our Savior and Redeemer of Mankind, and pray in his name to God, the Eternal Father. We follow his example and try to help those in need. Show more Show less
