Hi I'm Steven Clark

I was born and raised in Ogden, Utah and have lived here all of my life with the exception of two years in Austria on a mission.

About Me

I am the Father of three wonderful grown children and the Grand Father of nine. I own an insurance agency and have been a business owner for the past thirty seven years. I enjoy motorcycle riding and am currently looking for the Harley-Davidson of my dreams. I play golf every Wednesday with some friends and every weekend with my son, except in the Winter. I have been married to the love of my life for the past thirty seven years and enjoy spending as much time with her as possible, together we enjoy traveling and just about anything else as long as we can do it together. I enjoy a good read and am currently reading several books.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because of my testimony of the truthfulness of the teachings of the Church, these teachings have been learned and tested over my life time and I have found that I am much happier when living the teachings of the restored gospel. I have a deep and meaningful relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ and believe because of his atoning sacrifice we have the power to overcome sin and cleanse ourselves of the sins we may commit, I have a testimony that he will return to this Earth to lead and guide us back into the presence of our Eternal Father in Heaven. I value the inspired leadership he has provided for us on earth and know that he stands at the head of his church and has given us a living prophet to help guide us through life's journey.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the clerk for my ward and am in charge of much of the day to day goings on for the ward such as budgets, ward organizations, meeting notes, members records, ward supplies and study materials, finances and anything else the Bishop wants done. I serve as a home teacher and visit the homes of the families I am assigned on a monthly basis, to see how they are doing and to give them a spiritual message from the leaders of my church. I have served in many different leadership callings over the years and completed a two year mission to Austria for my church back in the late seventies. I strive to live my religion each and every day.
