Hi I'm Gavin

I am studying economics in Utah. I grew up traveling over the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently am studying economics in UT. I like the outdoors. I like to read, in several languages. I especially like the writings of Soren Kierkegaard, a danish philosopher from the 19th century. I have lived in 7 countries on 5 continents, and I enjoy travelling and visiting new places.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I came to know in my early adulthood that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church on the earth today, and that he leads and guides it through prophets, much like he did in scriptural times. I came to know this through reading in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and praying to God and feeling that this church is His church today. Knowing that Christ has his church organized and established now helps me know what I should be doing in this life, and gives me a reassurance that Christ loves all people as his children today, as in times past.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively trying to follow Christ in my daily life. I try to treat everyone with respect and love. I am visit a few families in the church every month, and I try to keep up with how they are doing and help them out if possible.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are Christians. We believe in Christ, we hope in Christ, we teach of Christ. We believe he is the Son of God who came to world for the divine purpose of being the savior and redeemer of mankind. Show more Show less
