Hi I'm Amanda

I grew up in Huntington Beach, California. I will be serving a mission in Virginia, Chesapeake. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. My boyfriend is currently serving a mission in the Washington, Kennewick Mission. I'm a physics major and I attended BYU for a year. I love to dance, cook, watch movies, and spend time with my friends and family. I've traveled to Ireland, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovenija, and Italy. I would love to travel more and see the world and and learn about different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My mother was a nonmember and my dad was inactive for a very long time. The missionaries knocked on my parents door one day and my mom eventually told my dad she wanted to begin taking lessons from them. She got baptized and my dad became active once again. My parents are a huge example to me as well as many other members of the church. Both me and my boyfriend, who is also my best friend, will both be serving missions faithfully for the Lord at the same time. We love the temple and we hope to be married and sealed in the temple when we both return home. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ, that he lives. I have a testimony of the atonement and the joy it can bring you if you access its power. I have a true testimony of the temple and forever families. I love this church and I know nothing to be truer.

How I live my faith

One way I live my faith is by attending the temple every week. I got to church every Sunday and try to be the best I can by living the gospel and setting an example.
