Hi I'm Riley

I grew up in a small town no one has ever heard of and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated high school. While in high school I played: football, basketball, and track. I love being in the mountains and doing anything outdoors. I'm headed on a mission to Fresno California speaking Hmong. I love to snowboard and drift cars in the winter, but other than that I don't really like the snow. I have 7 members in my family. We live in a super small town that has about 160 people in it. I love summers where you can work all day and relax by a fire at night with your best buds.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I was born into a Mormon family, but they didn't decided to make me be a Mormon. They left that up to me. Throughout my life I have always been around the Mormon Church and seen how it has helped others, and one day I really wanted to see how it could help me. I decided to put my faith to the test and receive answers to my prayers by asking God for help. As I did this I could see how much my life has been blessed and I could see how much love the Lord has for me personally. I started getting answers to my prayers. It was amazing. I remember just sitting and thinking how lucky I am that I found the truth. I know that this church is true. I know that God really does answer our prayers. I know that Jesus Christ loves us so much that He did die for us, so we can return to live with Him. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a true prophet of the Lord. I know that The Book of Mormon is true. I am so glad that I have found, for myself, the truth.

How I live my faith

The ways that I live my faith is by serving those around me. I went to the seminary programs during high school and loved it. I always try to be a friend to everyone and help them in anyway that I can. I am serving my mission and living my faith every second of the day and wouldn't want it any other way.
