Hi I'm Nathan

I was born in Connecticut, but North Carolinia is my home. I am the 2nd oldest of 4. I love the church and my family. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born and raised in a household blessed wth gospel knowledge and am very grateful for that. I spent my earlier years growing up in Connecticut, but later moved to North Carolina in the early 2000's. North Carolina is my home and I love everything about it, except the humidity. I recently graduated high school and have put off going to college in order to serve in the Utah South Lake City South mission for two years. My hobies include playing sports (of any kind) and tinkering with just about anything I can get my hands on. I like to fix and repurpose things and am seriously considering a career in engineering (undecided). Other things I enjoy are camping, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and various other outdoor activities. I am an Eagle Scout and still participate in scouting activites when I can. I am the second oldest of four and have two sisters (one younger, one older) and a younger brother. I am very close with my family very much and am very thankful for all they've given me.

Why I am a Mormon

well I was born and raise in it for one, but there's a lot more to it than that. I guess I would say that I'm Mormon because nothing else makes sense. Sure it's surpising that we have another religious book, but having read it multiple times and through studying many of the core doctrines of this church I have found that no other church can answer questions the way this one can. Through personal study and prayer, along with some personal experiences as well, I have found the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be the most true church upon the face of the earth. Not only does the church provide many answers to the questions of life, but also introduces the true way to happiness in this life. I can truely testify that there is no other church like this on the earth and that if you approach its teachings with and open mind and a humble heart, you too will be able to see the trueth of this gospel and gain an understanding of this life beyond anything you've ever known.

How I live my faith

I love the church and strive each day to live by the principles it sets forth. I guess I would say I live my faith by being an example to those around me and standing for what I belive in, even if I have to stand alone. I firmly believe actions speak louder than words, so I strive to help others around me in whatever way I can. I love serving others and am very excited to serve as a missionary for the church. I have served in many different callings involving the teaching of the youth. These include serving in primary ( 9-10 yr olds), nursery (18 months-3 yr olds), and in leadership positions amongst the aaronic priesthood classes. I throughly enjoyed each of these callings and am very grateful for the things that I have learned as I served the church.
