Hi I'm Nate Zurcher

I love lunch, I'm a future mental health nurse, I sell suits, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Whenever I don't get a meal, I get very angry, but if I'm full then I love to go outdoors to hike, ski, or unicycle. I love to watch college football and basketball (go Aggies). I am currently studying in college to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Classes are intense to get the knowledge and skills I need. It's what I love to do and the job opportunities are endless (My mother in law says I can set up my office in her house). I work part time as a suit salesman, I hang out with my wife every chance I get. Family is where it's at.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. If something makes you happy, it can't come from anyone but God. I am also a Mormon because it makes sense in my head. The things that I learn at church and from the scriptures like the Book of Mormon and Bible make sense. Logically it all adds up. Finally I am a Mormon because I prayed and asked God if it's true stuff. I felt in my heart that it is.

How I live my faith

One challenge I have is living my faith at work. At a suit shop, all sorts of people walk through the doors. When people walk in, they can become anywhere from lifelong friends to uncomfortable acquaintances. The relationships I build aren't easy but they are important-both in a gospel mindset and business mindset. Sometimes it's not my choice, and people don't want to accept my friendship. But there are some things in my control. When I wake up, I have to choose to pray for love for everyone that I will meet during the day. I have to prepare myself mentally to be accepting and willing to establish relationships no matter the background of the person I'm working with.
