Hi I'm Clayton

I grew up in Ogden, Utah and I am currently serving in the Washington D.C. North Mission French Speaking and I'm a Mormon. ☻

About Me

So about me, well I just graduated from high school in my hometown and received my mission call to the Washington D.C. North mission French Speaking just before I graduated. I left to the Provo Missionary Training Center on August 6 2014 and stayed there for 6 weeks, so until the summer of 2016, I will be serving the Lord with all my heart and try to bring as many people unto the Gospel as I can. I love my mission call and I love serving the Lord, this is the best thing I have ever done in my life and wouldn't go home for anything. When I return home ill will go to college and my hope is to be able to make it to medical school to become a doctor. I love science and human anatomy and think it would be sweet to be able to make peoples lives easier and better. I love my family and plan to have one of my own someday and to be married in a temple of The Lord for time and all eternity. I love the outdoors for example I like to go hiking and camping a lot. I also love sports, I played tennis in high school and absolutely loved it and my team. My friends are the best people in the world to me, I love them so much. I am also an Eagle Scout and proud of it.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason why I am a Mormon is because I know that it is true and I have felt the Holy Ghost tell me that these things are true. I was raised in the gospel by my loving parents who both know that this church is true as well and taught me that it was true. My parents have had a big influence on me but by going to church regularly and reading the scriptures I began to know that this church really is true. Through faith in Jesus Christ I knew that I could be forgiven for my sins that I have made and become clean again to return to my Heavenly Father. It was not easy to have faith, but when I gained it I knew that for a surety that it was true. I am now a very happy person, I have fun without having to break commandments of the Lord. I enjoy going to church, and following the commandments. I know that the prophet Thomas S. Monson is a true Prophet of God and the leaders of the church are called upon by God. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins. I know that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. I know that Joseph Smith reestablished the Gospel for these latter days. I know that families can live forever by being sealed in the temple. I know that our Heavenly Father listens to each one of our prayers, and knows us each personally and what our desires are. I believe that miracles are real and that they happen every day. I know that this Gospel is true. And this is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have always loved community service and service in general. I remember when my hometown had a huge windstorm which blew down hundreds of our neighborhoods trees I thought it was a cool thing to see our community help each other out and i loved being apart of that and helping others when they were in a time of need. I have since then gone on a humanitarian service trip to Guatemala with Youthlinc and done have completed many other service projects. Right now I am serving a LDS mission in Washington D.C. in the French Language and will be until the summer of 2016. I love this calling of the Lord! I have also had many other callings in the church dealing with the youth. I loved all of these callings and it has brought me closer to my Heavenly Father and his children.
