Hi I'm Brigham

I live in a small town in Alberta, Canada. I excelled at music and sports, and still enjoy then in my life. I'm a mormon.

About Me

As a child and teenager, I excelled at sports such as football and basketball. However in my tenth grade basketball season, I suffered and accident while playing basketball and tore my ACL, one of the four major ligaments that keep your knee stable. I received knee surgery, but never fully recovered. I also excelled at music, so after my accident, I was able to more fully focus on what I found out to be my biggest passion. Music. I sing, play guitar, piano, ukulele, and basically any other instrument I can get my hands on and figure out how to play. I am the fourth child of six.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon Church, so as a child I was a Mormon because my parents were Mormon. However, as I grew and started to learn more, I started to understand more of the principles of the Church. I realized that the Church was a place and a thing that brought happiness to the Church. I had friends who weren't Mormon and they would ask me why I did the things I did. They would ask why I would live with so many restrictions. But to me, I wasn't living with restrictions. I was living with more freedoms than they could even imagine. I am a Mormon, because the Church is a means of stability and a means of undying happiness and freedom. The Church brings joy to those who want it.

How I live my faith

Right after I graduated, I was asked to be a teacher in church. I was asked to teach the 8 and 9 year old children. I have been teaching in this calling for just over a year, and I will soon embark on a mission for the church.
