Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a Chemical Engineering major. I'm an Eagle Scout. I love learning and I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 5 brothers and am studying Chemical Engineering in college. I love learning about anything and everything, but especially love math and science. Every chance I get, I'm playing basketball or riding my bike and just trying to stay active. I love going to church every Sunday and learning from the lessons there and doing my best to live what I've learned.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are very strong members of the church so I grew up going to church every week as well as having great examples to look up to. Despite this, I was never very interested in church for most of my life. But eventually I decided to really give the church a chance and see if it was worth it. I started reading the Book of Mormon a lot more and praying about it to see if was true. And you know what? Eventually I came to know that everything I had been reading and being taught my whole life really was true. It's amazing how much easier going to church and keeping the commandments became once I really knew it was all true and that it would make such a difference in my life.

How I live my faith

How do I show and live my faith? Well for me it's as simple as going through each day and trying my best to be better than the day before. I really believe in teaching through example and so I try to set the best example I can for everyone that I get to interact with. It is so important to me to make sure to do the little things like reading my Book of Mormon every day and praying morning and night. When I am doing all these little things (which are actually a pretty big deal) then everything else falls into place and it's easy to live my faith.
