Hi I'm Trevor

Hello my name is Trevor Mauss. I am just a regular young man who loves his family and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am high school graduate who doesn't know what life path to take. My parents are divorced, I live with both parents moving from house to house to stay close to my sister who is 17. I am currently serving a mission in the Edmonton Canada area. I am a sucker for board games, especially monopoly. I enjoy singing but not around others! I am very much a relaxed individual who enjoys quiet times at home with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon home and have a long history of mormons in my family. That is why I started going to church. As to why I stayed. As I grew older I never felt any pressure of "if you arent Mormon we will disown you!" from my parents. They knew that i had to build my own testimony of our church. I always felt better when attending church as a kid so I knew something was different about it. Reading they Book of Mormon and really thinking and praying about what it means to me has also helped. Prayer has always helped me in my time of need. If I ever feel like I lack understanding, feel down, or just need help I know i can always pray. I know my Father in heaven loves me and always wants me to do well.

How I live my faith

In the past I have been called to serve in the Primary as a teacher for the 10-11 year olds. That was a great experience! I think i learned more than the kids did! They were so eager to learn. It amazes me how smart some of them are, I don't remember being that smart at their age. I am not very outgoing to I never joined choir or things of that nature. In fact I am rather shy, preferring only small amount of people focusing on me. The people in my ward are amazingly nice! They always say hi to me even when I am not to sure who they are. There is something very special about having someone you don't know too well asking how you are doing and really mean it.
