Hi I'm Monica Griffiths

I love reading and running but never at the same time. I dapple in horticulture. Don't Blink and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I ran cross country, indoor and outdoor Track in High School. I still run around occasionally, just not for a team. I'm a klutz and 95 percent of the time I'm either laughing or smiling. You wouldn't know it, but I'm super nerdy, (and I love it). I'd rather be outdoors and being apart of nature than probably anything else... because being active is fun, and I get bored fairly easily. Although, relaxing with a good movie is always a blast too. I love my family more than I could possibly express. They are my rock. My nieces and nephews are the best examples of there still being good in the world. For the next 18 months I will be serving a mission and loving it!!

Why I am a Mormon

Simply put: I know it. When I have the gospel apart of my life, I can feel it bless and make my life happier. I feel a sense of hope knowing that I have a Savior and a Father in Heaven that loves me immeasurably. This feeling makes any hardship that I have or will go through, all worth it. Life sucks; sometimes. Some examples of the suckiness of life may include but are not limited to: -You accidently throw away your bike lock key -People stare or ignore you -You mess up big time in front of the cute boy (or girl) -Your voice still cracks when you sing (even though your 20) -Someone bullies you -You loose a loved one Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can all not only be clean again, but any unfairness or hurt we feel in this life can be made right. Jesus Christ has been through EVERYTHING. He knows and understand what everyone has been through. God did not send us to this Earth to fail. We can all return back to Him and feel His loving arms around us. We must first turn to Him and do His will. He is an omnipotent God... no matter what, He knows more so there might be a reason- that you or I- don't understand, that we are going through a certain trial. Trust in God. He will see you through. I dare you to find as good of a deal with Satan. We all God's children. Don't give up on Him because He will never give up on you!!

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission for the Church. As I talk to people about the gospel, I have learned that everyone is important to our Heavenly Father. No matter what. No ifs, ands, buts, or whatevers!! (Don't you roll your eyes at me!) You are important. Never ever forget it and live like it means something. Jesus Christ died for you and now you need to live for him. I live my faith by teaching that message to everyone who will take the time to listen.
