Hi I'm Audrey Curtis

I am a urogynecologic surgeon. I am an aunt to 12 wonderful nieces and nephews. I love farming and genealogy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time practicing physician. My specialty is pelvic floor reconstructive surgery / urogynecology. Taking care of women is incredibly rewarding and my patients teach me things everyday. I have four wonderful sisters and 12 (soon to be 14) nieces and nephews. We love to be together - family dinners, backpacking, vacations, hanging out. One of my favorite hobbies is genealogy. I come from a long line of farmers and my goal is to own and run a fruit farm. Currently I am enrolled in a beginning urban farming program to help me realize that goal.

Why I am a Mormon

The beauties of nature around me, this glorious earth, the miraculous function and healing properties of the human body - all of these testify to me of a loving God in Heaven. I cannot perform a surgery or hike through nature without feeling God's direction and love. His love instills in me the desire to seek Him, to know Him, and to communicate with Him. That is why I am a Mormon - because it builds my relationship with God - my Father in Heaven, and with His Son Jesus Christ - my elder brother.

How I live my faith

I love being a student and I love to teach. I share my knowledge of women's health as often as I can speaking to various women's groups whenever I am invited to do so. Reading the Bible and other scriptures has been a lifelong study for me and I love to share the truths contained in those books. The Bible talks often of healing. My education as a physician has given me many tools to heal physically. And my religious education has given me the tools to help lead others to knowledge that will allow them to heal their soul.
