Hi I'm Andy

I was born and raised in Utah. In the summers, I work at Bear Lake also known as the "Caribbean of the Rockies." I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my hobbies are cooking, photography, dancing, and just hanging out with my friends. I attended one year of college. I love to travel. Some of the places I have been are different states in the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, South Africa, and some other places. After my mission, I would like to become part of law enforcement of some sort.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church. My mom was raised as a member, and my dad converted to the church in his early 20's. So I was raised with the church in my life, but just because my family raised me up in the church, doesn't mean that I felt the same way about it. I questioned why I was still part of this church, but I actually figured out for myself that I was way more happy as I followed what the church teaches. I love to be happy, and I just wasn't happy when I wasn't living what the church teaches as closely as I should have. I also realized that for me, it was actually easier to live what the church teaches. I also found that people liked being around me more, because I was happy and cheerful. I know that as someone lives what the LDS church teaches, they will find life to be easier and a lot more enjoyable. We all still have hard times, no matter how well we live the teachings. We are here being tested and as we keep the commandments, the Lord is right there to help us get through those hard times. I know that to be true! I absolutely love this church! It is the best thing I have ever done for my life.

How I live my faith

The last calling I had in church, was the Ward Membership Clerk. My calling entitled me to make sure that the ward had all the correct membership records, for the members in our ward. I was also there to assist the ward clerk and the Bishopric, with whatever they needed help with. I had hometeaching assignments while I was still in high school, and I also had a hometeaching assignment while I attended college.
