Hi I'm Marshall Snow Thomas

I'm a brother. I'm a son. I'm a missionary. I'm a college football fanatic. I believe in serving others. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 20 years old. I'm currently serving a two year mission in the Florida, Tallahassee mission. I grew up in Miami, Florida, then in 2008 I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. I graduated from East High School. I spent a year before my mission at Utah State University. I'm a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. I'm a HUGE sports fan, especially college football. I love my Miami Hurricanes and Utah Utes. I love my family more than anything. In the summer you'll find me by water. Whether its in California, Florida, or Lake Powell, I'm there. I'm currently serving the Lord for 2 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I had grown up in the church, but never received a true testimony until I was about 19. I decided I was going to read a scripture passage in the Book Of Mormon, Moroni chapter 10, verses 3 through 5. I read that, and after that I read the entire Book Of Mormon. I received an answer that the Book Of Mormon is true. I know with all my heart, that Joseph Smith was chosen as the prophet to restore the Lord's church. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet. I know, with all the surety in my heart, that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I'm serving the Lord for 2 years as a full time missionary. Always striving to keep the commandments that has been given me. Using the Atonement of Jesus Christ to try and become the person I should be, and the person that God knows I am. Serving others, because I believe service is the main ideal of being a Christian.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Marshall Snow Thomas
Pray to your Heavenly Father and sincerely ask him if it is true. Study what you are learning, follow god's commandments. Do your part in reading and praying about the Book Of Mormon, and pray with sincerity if it is true. Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Marshall Snow Thomas
The Mormons, to some people, live a little bit differently compared to others in the world. However, we do not act that different if you think about it. We believe that God sent us to the earth to have joy, and experience happiness. We believe that studying the scriptures, personal prayer, attending church, and following God's commandments brings us that happiness. We believe in serving others and making a difference, and trying to follow the Savior's example. We believe in families and being together forever. Show more Show less
