Hi I'm Rachelle

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, I am a mother and grandmother, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was an executive secretary from the time I finished high school until my oldest child was born. I returned to work as a school bus driver for 5 years, after my children were in school. I then worked as a secretary in our school district for another 5 years. I was able to take early retirement at age 50. I love to garden. I also enjoy reading. My favorite day of each week is "Grandma Day" when I have all my grandchildren with me for the day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a very strong and abiding faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and in my Heavenly Father. I was born into a family that belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, and have been an active member all of my life. I have had many experiences throughout my life that have helped to build my faith. I love to study the gospel of Jesus Christ on a daily basis. I have found that whatever point I am in with my life when I read the scriptures I get help and direction for my life. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and knows me as a person. He also cares deeply about what I do and how I live my life. My greatest goal in life is to be able to return to His presence and have him tell me that He is proud of how I lived my life.

How I live my faith

I have served in many positions in the Church. My favorite calling is teaching children. I have also worked, and enjoyed my service with the youth of the Church. For about 4 years I was the president of our church women's organization. I am currently serving as a local missionary.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Rachelle
If we have faith in Jesus Christ we will follow His examples and strive to live more like He did while here on earth. To me the greatest thing about Christ is His unconditional love. If we practice that kind of unconditional love in our marriage, and family relationships and our friendships we will always strive to help and not hurt each other. We aren't perfect like He is, but we can always keep trying. Show more Show less
