Hi I'm Conner

I grew up in Bountiful Utah, I play competitive basketball, love to snowboard, and more importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love playing sports, especially basketball. I enjoy going snowboarding with friends of mine during the winter. I have played the piano for 11 years and I have played guitar for 2 years. I started playing the organ when I was 13 and have been a ward organist for sacrament meeting. I love meeting new people and getting to know them better and hearing about their experiences they have had throughout their life. I plan on attending college after I serve my mission. I received my call recently and am reporting to a northern Guatemalan mission. I am excited for the opportunity I have to serve the Lord by serving a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is the only true church with all the proper authority and correct teachings here on this earth. I know this because I have read the Book of Mormon several times throughout my life and have felt the power of the Holy Ghost prompting me that this book is true. I receive this same feeling every time I finish the book and pray for an answer of its truthfulness. I am a Mormon because living the gospel principles makes me feel extremely happy and optimistic because I know that I am living the way Heavenly Father would be proud of and I don't have to deal with a guilty conscience. I know that Jesus Christ is our loving Savior and that he atoned for each and every one of our sins. We are entitled to become clean through this atoning power of his infinite sacrifice if we humble ourselves and ask with a sincere heart for forgiveness. I love my Savior and I love this gospel because of the happiness it brings to me and my family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by playing the piano and the organ in our church worship services in various meetings. I also live my faith by teaching some of the lessons for my class and for younger children as well to teach them more about the gospel. I also live my faith by visiting members in our ward with a leader each week to check up on them to see how they are doing and to see if they need any assistance of help with problems or challenges they may be facing. I have done several service projects for fellow ward members and neighbors that have needed assistance with their yards or their homes. I love serving others because I always feel happy and good that I am doing something good to help out someone in need. I live my faith by reaching out to others who may not know about our religion and invite them to learn more about the wonderful principles and teachings that we have in our religion.
