Hi I'm Nathan

I'm an adrenaline seeker, an outdoor enthusiast and a family member. I am glad to be a Mormon

About Me

I am an adventurer. Among my favorite activities are rock climbing, mountaineering, cycling, kayaking and good old hiking. Throughout high school, I spent many days out at the rock wall honing skills, and climbing with my friends. With the outdoors in my heart, school has never been easy for me. I constantly try to find an opportunity to get outside. I have a quiet personality, and enjoy spending time by myself. My greatest friends are my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church doesn't mean you are converted to the gospel. As much as I would like to say I have always been a testimony bearing, faithful serving member, I can not truthfully say this. There came a time in my life when I needed to decide if the church was the right direction for me. After STUDYING the book of Mormon and praying about it, I received a reassuring answer that this is where God would have me lead my life. Time and time again, I have been reassured that this is the church for me. By many small answers, peaceful feelings, and personal experiences, my testimony has grown to the point it is at now.

How I live my faith

I live my faith. It is as simple as that. Sometimes it is hard when I need to skip activities when they are on Sundays or when my friends are watching an inappropriate film. It is these instances when I find that my Heavenly Father helps me to live my religion. Much of my time in the church is spent leading other's who are around my age. Through faithful service in the church, I have found a joy which is greater than that which I find in my adrenaline seeking adventures.
