Hi I'm Nathan Lee

I grew up in Clinton, Utah. I love all kinds of sports, but especially soccer and basketball. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play basketball and soccer. I love to draw. I love hanging with my family and spending time with them. I am going to leave for my mission to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania very soon. I am an Eagle scout. I have grown up in the LDS church my whole life and "I Love It!" After my mission I will be going to college and I will find A Beautiful Daughter Of God To Spend All Time And Eternity With. I did play high school soccer and basketball as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church and I grew up as well in the church. I was taught the ways of the church and the characteristics of a Mormon and a good person. Growing up I didn't know anything different besides the LDS church. This also made it very easy when I was diagnosed with cancer to not think anything of it. I just knew everything would be okay because I knew God loved me and that he would protect me. I was greatly blessed and before I knew it, the cancer wasn't a problem anymore. I was then baptized at the age of 8 and I became a member of the LDS church. As I continued to grow up in the church, and taught the knowledge of the gospel I just lived happy as could be. When I started up in Jr. High I started to experience sadness and I blamed everything on God and I didn't try to do anything to help myself but blame things and people. So as I continued this for several years, I lived a secret life pretending I believed in God and the church when I really didn't inside. I was expected to be the best kid to because of my parents and their testimonies as well so I acted and people believed me and were deceived but God was not. I then got a new bishop who was best friends with my dad and he was able to find out that I was living a secret life as well as my dad. They did everything they could to help me but it again was left up to me because I have my own agency. I continued to struggle until I had the opportunity to go to Aaronic Priesthood camp. This was a spiritual camp and I had made a goal to know that God was real and that this church was real because all my friends did. At that camp I had become converted by going into the woods and praying constantly to know if God was real and if the Church was true. I gained this for sure knowledge and with it I gained my own testimony and the desire and motivation to go on a mission. I know this church is true and I love every aspect of it and I will never question it because if it was true once it's true for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. As of right now before my mission my calling is a ward missionary. This calling is very good preparation for my mission and even though it's scary at first after my first visit I look forward to participating in my calling every week. This calling if also very beneficial to me because there are two other young men like me who have the mission calls that are also ward missionaries. So this helps extremely because were actually going out with people are own age to visit people in the ward like we would on our missions. A ward missionary is also to visit not only members but more importantly non-members to just see how they're doing and if they need anything from us or the ward. We represent not only the local ward but the community as well. Our main focus is to just serve and help the local people living in the ward.
