Hi I'm Cassinda

I grow up in a tiny town on a ranch. I am a artist, a cowgirl, a student, an athlete, and I am Mormon.

About Me

So I grew up on my family's cattle ranch, spending most my summers working away along side my family. Later on I starting working part time when I was 14 and full time once I turned 16 in order to save money for school and for my mission. After I graduated High School I went for a year to study at BYU-I majoring in Art Education with a minor in Math Education. I also plan to become a High School Volleyball coach, and maybe basketball too. I love sports and trying to learn new things. I love anything outdoors and I love going on adventures to new places. I also loves the mountains and spreading time hiking and exploring this beautiful world that we have. Basically I love anything that is outside, anything from hiking to hunting to fishing to anything else. I love riding horses and working on ranches or farms. I love music, I love to sing, even though I'm not the best singer, and learning how to play new instruments. I am currently learning how to play the Ukulele and write my own music. I love artwork and being able to express myself through wither painting, pottery, sketching, or even woodworking. I love to help create good in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has always been members of the church so I had the privilege of growing up in the church. I am not sure at what point I gained my testimony, I think I can bit by bit the more I learned and the more I read the scriptures and the words of the prophets. I just know it's true! There was a point in my life before I went to college that I was unsure of my testimony because I felt like I needed some big elaborate story about my personal conversion into the church. So I decided to pray to know without a doubt that this church is true. I received my answer that I already knew, God didn't need to tell me again because I already new it was all true, the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and we have prophets that lead and guide us today. Now everyday whenever I read the Book of Mormon I pray that I can continue to know for myself that it is true and that my testimony can be strengthened, and everyday I can feel the spirit confirm to me the truth of the words I read. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have and for the strength it gives me to keep working towards the the kingdom of God! I am Mormon because I know it's true and I love living the life that God meant for us to, full of happiness and hope and peace.

How I live my faith

The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a huge part of my life. Whether I am at home in my home ward or on my mission like I am now. I love doing all I can to serve The Lord and help others find the happiness I can found in the church. Church activities are one of my favorite things, whether it's making a craft or a ward dinner I love getting together with friends and family and being able to strengthen each other. I also love joining the church with service projects and helping those who can't do things on their own. I love helping people and seeing the happiness that little bit of my time I have given has helped them. I love living my life the way God wants to me and following the plan He has for me. I love being Mormon!
