Hi I'm Whitney Tapia

I'm a homeschooler. I want to be a lawyer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Provo Utah but grew up in northern Kentucky. I chose to be homeschooled for most of my middle school and high school years I am studding to become a International Business Lawyer I'm currently attending Brigham Young University On September 3rd 2014 I will go to serve a 18 month mission in Taichung, Taiwan

Why I am a Mormon

My entire life I have been an active member in the church. I always felt peace when I was praying or reading scriptures. Whenever anyone said that the church was true I felt immense peace and comfort. However, when I was about 15 I started having some doubt. Often the thought that I was simply going to church because my parents told me to ran through my mind and that maybe God wasn't real. Then one Sunday night in the middle of the summer I knelt down and asked God if He was there and if He was really my Heavenly Father. I can say without any doubt that that night I felt the Sprit come to my heart and let me feel God's love for me. I know He is there. I am His daughter and He loves me and everyone of His children. After that, any time I have had a question about the church I simply go to Him. By doing this I have learned that the Church is true, that Joseph Smith is a prophet and that through the gospel of Jesus Christ I can reach my potential and return again to be with my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Every sunday I teach the 3 and 4 year olds about how much Christ loves them, ways they can become better kids, and that they are children of a loving God. I love teaching them and I can feel the love the Lord has for them. I also read my scriptures daily, pray morning and night, attend my church meeting and try to serve and help other's as often as I can. In a few days I will be going to Taiwan to help others come closer to their savior Jesus Christ, help them discover how much He loves them, and know for themselves that they are children of God.
