Hi I'm Tiffany

I'm an outdoor enthausiast. I love cooking and running. I am a future full time missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Tiffany. I recently graduated as a Recreation Therapist. I love summer and the outdoors, I aspire to spend as much time as possible enjoying it. I recently started rock climbing outdoors and am loving it! I love lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and the ocean. I am a runner and hope to be for the rest of my life. I love cooking and especially experimenting with different healthy recipes. I plan on taking culinary arts at some point in my life. I have brothers and sisters whom I love and nephews and a niece whom I adore. I am currently preparing to go on a mission to Chesapeake, Virginia.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first off because I was born to parents who were Mormons. This was how I was introduced to the church and its teachings. However, there comes a time where each individual must choose for themselves whether they will continue to practice the teachings of the church or not. While in my teenage years, I participated in the church but was not necessarily convinced. I just kind of coasted. I was 20 years of age before I committed to living the principles taught by the church. It was then when I began to really study the scriptures and figure out for myself if I believe the things that were being taught. I can honestly and boldly state that I know the teachings are true. I am a Mormon because of this knowledge. I know the principles, teachings, and standards of living are the way to lasting happiness. I have recognized that truth as I changed the way I lived at 20 years old.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually progressing. Jesus Christ was the perfect example of how to live and I try to become more like him everyday. I live my faith by beginning each morning with a prayer to my Heavenly Father asking him how I can live this day better than my last. I try to avoid music or movies that don't make me feel better. I participate regularly in church meetings, religion classes, service projects and fun activities with church members my own age in the Young Single Adult ward (18-30). Most importantly, I study the Bible and Book of Mormon to increase my knowledge of Christ and his plan for us.
