Hi I'm Scarlett

I grew up in a small town. I'm a music junkie. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a barely graduated housecleaner with a desire to become a Mom. I'm eventually going to college after I serve a mission. In high school, I participated in lots of music programs. My Dad is in a band, so I always had music in my life. I'm pretty familiar with a lot of local bands, weird bands you've never heard of, and bands you have heard of. I know lots of that stuff. I'm just and average person, doing average stuff. But, hey that's what most people in the world relate to.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have been divorced since I was two and My Dad has been inactive as long as I can remember, but my Mom has been in and out of the church her whole life, including my whole life. When I was eight I asked my Mom if I could get baptized. She was confused, I hardly knew anything about the church! We hardly went. So I took the missionary discussions and I was baptized at age eight. But eventually we were inactive again....Until I moved to a small town in Idaho full of LDS people. I was confused....why were they so happy here? So I started going to church. It changed my life. I feel the spirit every day and it reminds me that I'm never alone. I had some personal trials happen in my life that required repentance... I know through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that I can be saved. I strive every day to live my life righteously so I can get married in the temple, have a family, and live with them for all eternity. I want to serve a mission because I know this gospel is the true gospel of Christ. I want others to feel how I felt when I was forgiven. I want them to feel the comfort, the love, and the happiness I feel from being a Mormon. This is the true church. This is the gospel and I love it. My Mom is slowly becoming close to the gospel again and I hope through my faithful service, my Dad can come to remember what he used to know, bringing his family (my stepmom and half siblings) along with him.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and participate in some young adult classes during the week. I don't have any callings right now, but I am working at a House cleaning company to save money so that I can serve a mission. I live my faith by taking all the classes I can and learning all I can about the gospel so that I can decide for myself what I believe. And I know all of it is true. I always make sure people know I'm a Mormon. It's who I am and the most important thing in my life. I could shout it from the rooftops.
