Hi I'm Heidi Rose Steinfeldt

I am a sister missionary. I am an athlete. I am daughter of God. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from high school where I was active in sports. I played varsity volleyball and ran varsity track for 4 years. I enjoy spending time at any sporting event, whether watching or participating. I love to hike, run, bike, swim, shoot guns, and spend any time outdoors. I am the youngest child of 4 children. I have 2 older sisters and 1 older brother. I have 1 niece and 1 nephew. I help teach in a first grade class at a local elementary school. When I return home from my full-time mission I will pursue a degree in Elementary Education at either BYU or the University of Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know it is the truth. I was born into the gospel and I was baptized at the age of 8. I continue to follow my savior's gospel because of the role it has played in my life. I have seen the Lord's hand in my everyday life. I feel His love for me when I follow his commandments and strive to be like him. I love my father and brother in heaven. I love the example they set for me. I love this gospel they gave to me. It is the truth, it is right. I testify of it.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve in the Spain Barcelona Mission on December 9th. I will spend this time preaching and teaching the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Helping others return to the kingdom of God is my ultimate purpose. Because I have been so blessed with this gospel in my life, I want others to feel the love and joy it brings.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Heidi Rose Steinfeldt
Joseph Smith was the first prophet of our restored church. He translated and brought forth one of the building blocks of our religion, the Book of Mormon. At age 14 Joseph Smith pondered on the scripture James 1:5. He then went and prayed to know the truth. At this time he had the first vision, where he saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. He learned that no church on the earth at that time was true and he was to begin preparing to restore the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After time he was ready to translate the Book of Mormon. He translated by the power and authority of God and through the Holy Spirit. Show more Show less
