Hi I'm Aura Laineenkare

I am from Finland. I went to music-oriented high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19 yrs old girl from Finland. I'm the second youngest child of five. We have reconstituted family and my mom and dad have both remarried , I live with my mom and stepfather. My biological dad lives in another town with my stepbrother and my stepmom. Music and socializing with friends are a big part of my life! I have a lot of friends; some of them are not members and some of them are members, and it's one of the biggest blessings that I have. I also love travelling. I'm now serving my mission in England Leeds Mission. I absolutely love it! I am so grateful that I can be here and help people to change their lives for better and at the same time they change my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom was an exchange student in Cali when she was sixteen. She was in a mormon family. She loved it. But when she came back to Finland she didn't go to mormon church, in other words, to LDS church. Later she had three kids and she was active mom even though she was a single-parent. I was three years old when she was baptized to our church. I went to church with her. She gave me the desire to know for myself the truthfulness of this Restored Gospel and this is the only way I can be as happy and blessed as I'm now. I love to be in this church and I love to know that Heavenly Father has a plan for everyone. That's the reason why I wanted to serve my mission. All of God's children has the same opportunity to have this happiness in their lives. Nobody can't know the joy which gospel can bring to their lives without experiencing it. I know that everybody can experience it if they just have the desire to feel and learn it. I am so grateful that on my mission I have learned that the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes bad people good and good people better and that is the reason why I am Latter-Day Saint because through the gospel I can grow towards the potential God sees in me.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I'm now a missionary in England. I try my best everyday to be more like Heavenly Father wants me to be.
