Hi I'm Charity

I write lyrics and partially play piano! The second youngest of 14, and happen to be a college student at 15. Yes! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I've just started at a community college at fifteen. I was involved with Cheerleading for five years. I am now Assistant Coach on my squad.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in this church. I believe in this gospel. Again and again I've been proven of the trueness of it. Finding out of this gospels truth, is easy. Its no test or quiz you have to pass to get the answer. Everyone has the ability to do so. All it took for me was to get down on my knees at the exact time that I was feeling as if it wasn't necessary. The most amazing thing? The learning only keeps going. The more you intent to know (for good purposes) the more that you will learn. My journey, has been a difficult one for sure, but it has only become easier as I have continued on this path. I cannot even find the right words to express how much of a blessing this gospel has been in my life. I only wish that whoever is reading this, you will find the same happiness and the same love and respect. I promise you, as you give this gospel a chance, you will see changes in your life and you will start to see the world through different eyes. Loving eyes.

How I live my faith

In my area, my stake covers five states. I am the "Mia-maid President" in other words, the instructor for the 14 and 15 year olds. We get the opportunity to share the gospel. At all times.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Charity
My best friend passed away in a motor vehicle accident in early August 2014. For a period of time I couldn't even process how it could be. It was especially hard considering she was only of the age 16. However during the memorial services, what was brought up was her voice, her laugh. Everyone commented on how they could still hear her shushing them for crying over her. Or anything for that matter! Every moment after, when I feel as if I'm about to cry, I too can feel her hugging me and saying "Its alright! Stop crying. I'm not gone. We are only separated for a time." Life has tragedies. But that's what makes us grow. "Parable of Immortality" I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch until at last she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says, " There she goes! " Gone where? Gone from my sight . . . that is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and just as able to bear her load of living freight to the place of destination. Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says, " There she goes! " there are other eyes watching her coming . . . and other voices ready to take up the glad shout . . . " Here she comes! " Author: Henry Van Dyke Show more Show less
