Hi I'm Alexis Kistler

I am from the beautiful golden coast. I am preparing to serve an 18 month mission in Ecuador. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

If there's one thing you should know first about me it's that I LOVE nature. I can't get enough of it. It has so much to offer! The sunsets, the smells, the colors, the way it makes me feel, all of it! Heavenly Father has created this beautiful earth for us to enjoy and I will always appreciate that. I love music, eating watermelon, soccer, being with my family and good friends, riding roller coasters, wake boarding, tubing, camping, and laughing. I went to college for a year and loved it so much. I look forward to that when I come back. I also love being a part of this wonderful gospel with all my heart and can't wait to share it with the beautiful people of Ecuador.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I knew that I was Mormon but never really knew what that meant or the immense blessings that came from being a devout LDS member. There was a time period of my life where I did not go to church and always wondered what I was really missing out on. As I came to have my testimony strengthened by attending Girl's Camp, I decided that I should start going back to church. I was 14 years old and haven't regretted that choice one bit. I felt that my life was whole and a piece that had been missing was filled. I know who I am, where I came from, and where I'm going. I know that my Savior loves me and so does my Heavenly Father. In fact, they love everyone and their only desire is to have others come unto them as well. I can't wait to share the gospel with others and hope that they will want to learn more about it. As people, we may not be perfect, but this gospel is and through that we can be perfected! I know that Heavenly Father sent his son Jesus Christ to die for us and atone for our sins, so that we could repent and live again. The Book of Mormon has been an answer to my prayers and contains the fullness of the gospel. I love everything about being a part of this gospel. It brings me true happiness.

How I live my faith

I attend church each Sunday. I keep my conduct appropriate and clean. I do not do or say anything that would contradict my beliefs. I always keep a prayer in my heart. I do my best to read my scriptures as often as I can. I participate in church activities. They are always so uplifting and bring us closer to our Heavenly Father. I am kind to others and I love my family. Heavenly Father and our Savior have done so much for us. I do my best to live a righteous life to show them that I am eternally grateful and also show that I love them.
