Hi I'm Tala

I grew up in Aunu'u Island, American Samoa. I'm from a family of 15 (8 sisters and 6 brothers). I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am very athletic, i enjoy any sports but i favor volleyball the most. I am attending our very own college here on the territory. I love reading the Book of Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

My family was converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when my sister, a year younger than me recover from illness when priesthood from my island gave her a blessing. I was a year old when my sister was held at the hospital suffering from asthma. The story was told to me by my older siblings. Ever since then my family started attending the Mormon church. I am thankful that my parents chose to convert after a priesthood blessing that has change my sister's life forever. She no longer have asthma and living healthier than ever. I testify that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint is true. I know that priesthood blessings are real and they can work miracles when we have faith in it. I am beyond grateful that i have grew up in the gospel. I can't thank Prophet Joseph Smith enough for restoring the gospel upon this earth. I have seen how the gospel and it's teaching has blessed my big and happy family and I want others to experience and be blessed the same way we are.

How I live my faith

I have been teaching seminary for about a year now. I really enjoy working along with the youth. I am currently teaching the Young Single Adults class and I am loving every single second of it.
