Hi I'm Maddy

I grew up in Indianapolis Indiana, I'm a runner, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I love being outdoors and playing just about any sport, but running is what I do best. I am a cross country/track athlete, competing mainly as a miler in track. I enjoy listening to country music, Eric Church is one of my favorite artists. I have a fraternal twin sister (who is also my best friend ) and an older brother. We all get along great and always have a blast together.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony that God exists and we are all his children. He knows and loves each and every person on this earth and we all are able to communicate with Him through prayer. He hears our prayers and answers them. He desires each of us to return to live with Him someday with eternal happiness and has given us the way to do so with the restored gospel. He restored the gospel through his servant Joseph Smith by translating the Book of Mormon. I feel the spirit testify of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon when i read it and sincerely pray to know if it is true. I'm so grateful for the knowledge of the gospel because it gives me so much comfort knowing where I came from, why I am here and where I can go after this earth life. I find so much peace through being a member of this church. I love my family and it is such a blessing to know that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I taught Sunday school for my first few semesters of college. It was great being able to teach about the Bible and have discussions with my peers about it's doctrine. I serve sisters in the church by visiting them monthly, just to check up and see how they are doing. It is easy to grow a love for the people I serve.
