Hi I'm Kevin Call

I grew up in California, served a mission for the church in Puerto Rico, married my best friend and now live in Sherwood Oregon.

About Me

I own and operate an In Home Health Care business that serves the Elderly population. I love my job. The best part is getting to know the people and thier personal stories, what has made them the person they are today. I am a father of two wonderful children, one daughter and one son and most recently a new son in law. I love them all! I am a family man, I love my wife, we have been married for 25 years and loving it. My wife suffers from Fibromyalgia, which for her has been pretty debilitating. As a result we spend a lot of time together which is a blessing for us. Our son is currently serving a mission in the Chile Vina del Mar Mission and loves it! HIs service has blessed our lives as well as his. Both of my parents have passed away early in life as far as I am concerned but I have a great brother and two wonderful sisters. i would say we are close and love to get together as our time permits. My family and extended family are the most important part of our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of the church make me happy and give structure and guidance to my life. I know where I came from, why I am here on earth and where I am going after this life. Many say that being a Mormon is so restricting, you can't drink, you can't smoke you can not have sex before you are married and the list goes on. I say to that, thank you! Thank you for providing us commandments that give me freedom, freedom from addictions, freedom from health issues, freedom from not being able to remember what happened the night before because I was drunk or on drugs, freedom fro the pain of having an affair or child out of wedlock and numerous other things. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ and being a mormon is a blessing and brings everyone that does joy. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ can make any person better and will bless your life. The gospel of Jesus Christ has made me a better person, a better husband, a better father, a better boss and a better member of the church. I know that the being a mormon will change your life if you allow it to, like anything you do you only get out of it what you put into it. I promise you that the gospel of Jesus Christ will change your life if you will allow it to.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have had the opportunity to serve in various capacities within the church and no matter how you serve the people are the most important. It is not only the people that you are serving that benefit it is also those that you are serving along side, we all benefit. I currently am in charge of the missionary effort in the part of the city that i live. I coordinate the missionary effort between the full time missionaries and the members of the church and i love it. I am able to meet many great people and find ways to serve those that live in our great city of Sherwood. The gospel of Jesus Christ is all about helping and serving others so that they are able to feel the love that our Savior has for them. That love can come by doing simple things like mowing your neighbors lawn, helping someone financially, providing a meal to someone in need, donating food to the local food bank or food drive to just saying hello and sharing a smile with those you come in contact with. The gospel is about joy, how we can find joy ourselves and then how we can share that joy with others. People often ask how come we are so happy? it is because of the joy that comes from living the gospel.
