Hi I'm Merrisah

I grew up in Utah. My favorite things are family and hugs. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in good ole Logan, Utah as a Mormon. I'm an avid hiker, a lacrosse athlete, and lover of traveling. I seek happiness, sunlight, and lifelong friends. My main goal in life is to share the light I have been given, and the only way to do that is through this beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ. I have the wonderful privilege of serving the Lord in the Milan, Italy mission for the next 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've lived the life of a Mormon. I've seen the life of a non-Mormon first hand in so many situations, and when I compared the two, I chose the life I wanted for my future. I know that Jesus Christ is my Redeemer, my Savior and the perfect example. I love Him with my whole heart because of what He did for me, and when I continuously try to be like Him I find so much happiness. He guides and loves us all, and when you pray to feel of His love, He will answer you. Every time, I promise. I love the light it brings to my life, the knowledge I can gain from scriptures and people around me. I love the concepts and the principles, the standards and the people. Our prophet is amazing, our leaders are outstanding, and there is no truer or better church on this earth. Questions? Wondering how I came to know this? I'm a normal person; ask me, please!

How I live my faith

I live my faith. . .by loving it. I love that our gospel requires standards and values, it has guidelines and commandments to follow and to live by. They keep me so happy and so alive. How? You may ask. How on earth do they help?? Lean in closer and I will tell you. This gospel is the exact recipe for a beautiful, sunlight filled life. Think about it, if you follow this gospel's guidelines, you will have a family for eternity. You won't have addictions, only health. You gain a lifetime's worth of friends in your ward. You build a personal relationship with the one guy who knows you and loves you no matter what; God. So how do I live my faith? By seeing all of the benefits that come from living it! I see it, and it just makes logical sense. There is no reason not to. And there is every reason to.
