Hi I'm Capri Cahoon

I grew up in the mountains. I am a wife, mother and student who loves the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I are both full time students. I am studying Human Movement Science in order to complete the required courses for Medical school. I love the outdoors! I love to hike, camp, repel and hunt. In my spare time I love to escape to the beautiful mountains, especially during the fall. I love spending time with family. I am excited to be a mother in a few weeks and begin my own family with my husband! I love music. I enjoy playing the piano, guitar, flute and singing. I also enjoy sewing and crafting. I enjoy the simple things in life. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus Christ lives! He is my Redeemer and Savior. Christ died on the cross so ALL men can live again. I know that we can be forgiven for all of our wrong doings through Christ. He loves all of us no matter what we have done. The Book of Mormon testifies of Jesus Christ. As I read and ponder the passages in the Book of Mormon I have a peaceful feeling. I know that the passages are true. As I pray I feel the same peace that helps me know the church is true. I know we have a living prophet who communicates with God to direct us. I know that families can be together forever. Our bonds will go beyond death and we will rejoice with each other in the next life. This is the only true church on the earth. It is the same church that existed in Bible times and has been restored by modern day prophets. I invite you to read the Book of Mormon and ask God in prayer about the truths it contains. I know God will answer you because he answers my prayers.

How I live my faith

I am active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I participate in many areas in the church. I visit women in my ward and help them with anything they are in need of. My particular calling is to help prepare members for emergencies such as natural disasters. I also help organize efforts to teach people about the church that live close to us. My husband and I give ten percent of all our earnings to the church. The church uses this money to build temples and other church buildings. I enjoy volunteering my time and abilities to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
