Hi I'm Kaiden

I'm stuck between nerd and athlete. I love random facts. I look like Prince Harry. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in Idaho Falls, ID and I love my home! I enjoy viewing God's great creations and spending time in nature, but I'm not opposed to a movie night indoors either, in fact I love watching films! I also find great amounts of joy from knowing a plethora of random facts and love to share them with others even more. I love to reading books, especially ones written by J.R.R. Tolkien and ones considered "classic". I also love playing rugby, I helped to start a team in my area in 8th grade and played all through high school and was blessed to be invited to play on my state's "All-Star" team my junior and senior year. I truly love finding joy in the journey of life and having adventures with family and friends along the way!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found for myself that it is truth. I was born into the church and participated throughout my life. However, as a teenager I struggled to know if many of the church's basic teachings were true. God to me seemed like an ignorant explanation for those who couldn't be bothered to find a better answer, never was I more wrong. After several events I decided that I must know if God existed. I was in a seminary class for LDS youth one day and I felt a strong sensation that I should pay attention. Not moments later a verse of scripture from the Book of Mormon was read (Alma 22:18). I later asked in what has been one of the most sincere prayers of my life, what the King in the scripture asked, if there was a God I wanted to know and I would pursue my answer. I felt overwhelmingly that my Father in Heaven was real and so I set about learning of Him. Later as I studied the Book of Mormon in attempt to know its truth I read 2 Nephi 33: 10-11. I felt that I could not deny the truth of this book as I envisioned my self standing face to face with Nephi at the bar of Christ, I knew I could not deny it then, nor could I now. This same feeling has been repeated and is regular and that is why I beleive. It has not been happenstance or positive thinking that have proved these things to me, as often my thoughts were contrary to the feelings. I now know of my God and of His Son, and I have never been happier in my life! I truly love the gospel and the teachings of Christ that are taught in beautiful simplicity in the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-day Saints! No other doctrine I have searched or know of are as complete and logical as the ones found in this church. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living by the motto: "be a little better every day". I know that through Christ I can be perfected and that it is a process, so I do what I can to learn of my Saviour through prayer and scripture study and by learning from the experiences placed in my way.
