Hi I'm Jacob king

I'm 16. I grew up in Texas and ran track and cross country and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a junior in high school and run cross country. I grew up in a family where we almost never went to church. My parents were divorced when I was 4. I only knew a little about Christ growing up, and when I was 14 my mom threatened to kill me twice. Because of the many experiences I've gone through in my life I've been able to see the difference between a family with the gospel of Jesus Christ and a family without the gospel. I have come to learn and know many things and I have many more things to learn, but I have faith that if I trust and follow Christ in all that I do I can become happy and peaceful in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe God is real and I believe that without a shadow of a doubt. There is proof that God is real, there is evidence of this several times a day, but the key to seeing this evidence is having faith when you look.

How I live my faith

I live the way god shows me and guides me to do. I strive to do what is right, now that doesn't mean that I'm perfect, I do slip and mess up every once in a while, but the difference is that I strive to do what is right no matter how many times I may stumble. When I mess up and make a mistake I like to say "7 times down 8 times up, never give up." Now that doesn't give me the excuse to do the wrong thing on purpose, but to get back up when I have fallen.
