Hi I'm Mark

I am a father, husband, climber, mountain biker, designer and product developer. I am a Mormon

About Me

I live here in Central Oregon. I work as a product development engineer. I enjoy serving others (a key church doctrine). I have helped build and maintain many of the world class mountain bike trails around Bend. Im thankful for my wonderful wife and two awesome daughters. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my entire life and am thankful to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ as part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, although looking back at times I feel I still had to find my own path in this church and become "fully converted". I had to go through hard times, faith challenging trails, in my life and had fall to my knees in prayer, and read the scriptures for answers. Although I was baptized at age 8, I am still developing my own testimony of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service and by trying my best to be a good and positive example to others, especially the youth. I have held a variety of callings that have helped my faith and testimony of the Gospel grow strong. The most rewarding callings so far have been working with the young men program in our church which includes the Boy Scout program. There are always opportunities to help others in and out of our faith and I am happy to have them.
