Hi I'm Ashlee Giblette

I love anything with theatre and music. I'm a newlywed. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a FCHD Major in college right now, and I hope to become a mother someday. I recently just got married in the Manti LDS Temple to my best friend! I have always loved the theatre and singing, me and my sisters all sing. I love every kind of dessert and I love baking all of them as well. I have a love for listening to people's problems and giving advice. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that before I came to this Earth I was a spiritual being in Heaven and I know that when I leave I will once again become a spiritual being. I am a Mormon because I can't imagine my life without my family, and this beautiful church has promised me that if I stay true to my covenants then I get to live with them throughout the eternities. I am a Mormon because I have felt God's endless love for me and his grace has pulled me out of my darkest times. His comfort is one of the most incredible things I have ever felt. When I hear stories about Jesus Christ and all that he did for me, or when I hear what the ancient/newer prophets have sacrificed for this church, I am reassured that they would not have done what they did for no reason. This church is true! I am a Mormon because I believe in having a living prophet on the Earth today to give us counsel straight from the Lord. I know that through the Lord's atonement I can be cleansed of my sins and forgiven of all my mistakes. I know that we cannot make it through this crazy world without the light of Christ in our daily lives. I am a Mormon because this church is a church of pure and true happiness. It is not a church of rules that stop you from living your life, it is a church that frees you of the evils that would prevent you from living a full life. This gospel is real and it is the most incredible part of my life. We are all brothers and sisters trying to help each other home to our Heavenly Parents. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I was a youth counselor for a church camp this past summer which was a wonderful experience. I taught the youth of the church all about the gospel and how they can better their relationship with their Heavenly Father. I live my faith by being an example and staying true to my standards at all times. I try to live like Jesus Christ is in the room with me.
