Hi I'm Janell

I'm a college student. I love to ballroom dance and be with family. I love my savior. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from High School in 2014, and am currently studying Hospitality Management at Utah Valley University. I plan on finishing my degree in 2018, and then hopefully finding work as a concierge. I love dancing and have been a competitor for 2 years. I love being outdoors doing fun things like camping, boating, horseback riding, and playing sports. I also love to eat. Like a lot.

Why I am a Mormon

Every part of this gospel is meant to help the members become the best people that they can be. The Mormon church is a perfect church. The members may struggle individually, because everyone is human, but the teachings and beliefs that this church holds are perfect truths that have been restored to the earth by the help and efforts of Joseph Smith Jr. I love being a member of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints! It has made me a better person, given me strength when I needed it, and has taught me about the true nature of God. God lives. God loves, and God blesses as we try our best to become like him. I know with every fiber of my being that Christ lives and that he is always there for me to pray and return to him when I make a mistake. I'm not perfect, and none of us are, but I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ all of us will one day be made perfect. But only if we CHOOSE to use that powerful gift that was freely given to us. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the ward "munch and mingle" co-chairman. This calling involves organizing events where those members of my ward can spend some time meeting each other and sharing great food...I love this calling because meeting new people and eating are both things that I love to do! I also live my faith on a daily basis by dressing modestly, speaking respectfully, and trying to do what Jesus would have me do. I love all of God's children, and I want them all to be as happy as they have the potential to be.
