Hi I'm Bronwyn

I am a multiculturalist. I love being creative, laughing, and being with the people who mean the most to me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of nine children, born to a British father and an American mother. While I was born in the UK, I moved around quite a bit with my family during my child and teenage years, which took me to three countries on two different continents, picking up a few languages along the way. Now back in the UK, I have recently graduated from university with a degree in Horticulture, and will soon be departing on a full-time proselyting mission to Tokyo, Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel blessed to have been raised in a home with loving parents who taught me about God and the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I believe, however that whether a person is a convert to the church or has been raised in it as I have, each must go through the process of conversion and gain a personal testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. As I took the time to think about what I had been taught, study it, and pray about it for myself, I felt that they were true, which has continued to be a consistent feeling throughout my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes me so happy, and I am grateful to be able to experience it within the Lord's restored church. It has brought me a clearer sense of who I am, my purpose, as well as direction for my life which brings me immeasurable peace.

How I live my faith

My faith in God and Jesus Christ means so much to me, and influences everything I do: from the places I go, to the things that I do, as well as how I treat and interact with the people around me. My faith encourages me to show love and kindness towards others, which I try to do through caring for other people and serving in various ways. One of the ways in which I do this is through assisting with various responsibilities at church - such as playing the piano, conducting music, teaching, or assisting with looking after young children - as well as being a supportive daughter, sister, and friend. I truly believe in the powerful effect that small and simple acts of love and kindness can have in the lives of people!
