Hi I'm Kadie

I am a ranchers wife, a Montana girl, and the mother of 4. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up on a cattle ranch, my husband is a rancher, and we are raising our children on a ranch. We love to work together as a family. I am a Football, Volleyball, Basketball, and Baseball mom. We travel 43 miles to church one way, my husband is the Bishop, and we do so because we love the Gospel. In the little spare time I have from helping on the ranch, working part-time, and chasing kids I love photography, serving others, and just being with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I would be lost in this world without the Gospel and my testimony. The Church has given me values, morals, and most important the knowledge of the Plan of Happiness. I am a Mormon because I love the Savior, Jesus Christ and believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of His life. I am a Mormon because I believe in a just and loving Heavenly Father who would not leave us to fend for ourselves in the Latter-Days so He has provided us with a Prophet who directs us, guides us, and receives revelation for the betterment of our souls. I am a Mormon because I believe Families Can Be Forever and that through temple ordinances we our a step closer to achieving that goal. I am a Mormon because it is who I am.

How I live my faith

I gained my testimony in the church by studying the scriptures, letting the Spirit touch my heart, and following great examples. The callings I have held in the church have only helped my love for the Gospel grow. Whenever I feel it a sacrifice to travel the length and time we do to be active in church, our callings, and our kids activities, I feel the love of our Heavenly Father touch our efforts and it becomes a blessing instead of a hindrance. We have some amazing discussions about the church as we travel down the road together as a family.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Mormon women who are truly living their religion are inspirational sisters of Zion. They have a love for family, service, work, and teaching. They love their Savior and would do anything for their families. They are a lot like many other Christian women. They support their husbands in their roles, and in turn are supported by them in all that they do. We believe that men have a special role in the church and women also have an important sacred role. Fathers and Mothers together should help each other as equal partners in the home. They are a team that works together, and when they do, great things happen. Show more Show less
