Hi I'm Carylynne Jacobs

I'm a Mormon, a mother of 4 amazing children, a grandma of 7 (so far) A covert if 30 plus years! The Church has changed my life!

About Me

I was adopted when I was a baby into a loving family. Family is everything to me. I enjoy being with them and have found ways to work from home so I am always available to them. I love to sew, craft, cook, and take care of my home. I met my husband when we both worked for the Sheriff's Department. We dated 2 years and were married, just as my husband started Flight School with the Army. We have traveled all over the United States and Europe. 2 of my children were born in Germany. We like camping, fishing, traveling and spending time with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Catholic, but I had so many questions about things that didn't make any sense to me. I have always been looking for those answers. I was given a Book Of Mormon by my birth mother, she joined the Church 3 years before I met her. I didn't read it then. I read it after I met the missionaries while we were stationed in Alabama. I took a couple discussions and then we moved to our next duty station in California. I worked with a woman who was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a wonderful friend, a great mother and had a peace about her that was visable. She invited me to a women's meeting and I really enjoyed the spirit I felt there. I wanted more and started asking questions. I met with the missionaries, and found the answers I was looking for. I read the Book Of Mormon in 2 days and knew I had to be baptized. That was over 30 years ago! I love the Church. I have found answers, peace, hope, and truth. I know this Church is true and I learn so much as I study, attend meetings, and serve those around me. It is my life! I can be with my family for eternity!!! I'm so blessed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and my friend. I know He lives, He loves me and He suffered and died for all of us!

How I live my faith

I love to volunteer and I'm active in my community. I have organized events for the small town we live in and serve as Chairman in my precinct for elections. I have had many callings in the Church over the years and I enjoy the variety of each opportunity to serve others. I have been President of our women's group, and have worked with the youth for many years. I have learned so much. Leadership skills I have learned, things I have done that I never thought I would be capable of before. An education in so many areas!
