Hi I'm Katrina

I grew up in a small town in Oregon and, I am preparing to serve a mission in the Argentina Mendoza Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to take pictures and go camping. I also love to read all kinds of books and I'm interested in writing short stories. I'm the middle child in our family. I have an older sister and a younger brother. My parents are the greatest people I know, and I love them so much. I have attended one semester at Brigham Young University-Idaho and I'm majoring in Communication. I'm also preparing to serve a mission. I will be serving in the Argentina Mendoza Mission. I leave for the MTC December, 17th.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is the greatest most important part of my life. It has taught me the importance of family, and that families are an essential part of Heavenly Fathers plan for us. We are all here for a purpose and being a Mormon has helped me understand my purpose in this life and the here after. I am a daughter of God and I know that our Heavenly Father loves me. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God and that he restored the true church back on Earth. Without the principles the church has taught me, I know I wouldn't of made the decisions that would make me into the person I am today. I am proud to say that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and look forward to serving a mission in Argentina and helping the people there turn to the Savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being involved in my church. I have a calling to teach the 8-11 year old kids about the Old Testament. I also go visiting teaching with my partner. We go visit other women in our church and talk about the gospel and give a short lesson. We visit and make sure they and there families are doing okay, and take care of some of there needs. Visiting teaching is fun and allows us to get to now each other better, so now we are all friends.
